Newly purchased zodiac loach lying down in tank and is restless when moves?

Hi. I bought a new pair of zodiac loaches today. They just sit at the bottom of the tank and moves restlessly when they swim around. Do i need to put in more hiding place as they seem to hide behind stones and objects or are they ill!..:-(|||Sounds like normal behavior to me. Loaches are bottom-dwellers and won't swim into the water column like most fish. And yes, they'll need more hiding places - bursts of hyperactivity means they're not yet comfortable in their new home.|||they like a lot of hiding spaces, a strong current, subdued lighting. try adding floating plants, even plastic plant that float would be ok, just pull the stems off the base and they will float. dont be surprised if the loaches lie on the bott or on top or deco to rest, they all do that, although they usually become very animated in the eveing dureing feeding time. evening is the best time to feed them, as they are nocturnal.
