What year did the zodiac signs change?

I'm not really into zodiacs that much but I do think it's fun to look through and see what I am. So today I've been hearing this big fuss about everyone's zodiac sign changing because of the earth wobbling. To my understanding, your zodiac sign is whatever sign was in the sky the actual night you were born not whatever is in the sky on your current birthday. Does that make sense?





Well anyway, does anyone know the actual year the change occurred?|||The new sign isn't new.

Ophiuchus for a very long (really long) time has been intersecting the ecliptic and should be a sign.

Astrologers just decided not to take him into account when they designed the zodiac..

There isn't any exact year when something triggered an event and thus a change in the zodiac occurred. Only small changes through the millennia.

The "new" date changes are based on astronomical evidence. They are a fact.

Astrology isn't based on facts, and it is very possible that astrologers won't change anything in their beliefs.|||zodiac signs are relatively those which are predicted according to planetary positions at the time a child is born. this is it. zodiacs cannot change every year. that would be ridiculous then. the meaning of astrology will change then.|||The Zodiac Change has been this way for thousands of years, it's just now that Astronomers are going public with their evidence. Astrologist just choose to use old information.





Yes the Zodiac signs have changed but this is nothing new. According to Astronomers the earth's alignment is different from where it was three thousand years ago when the study of astrology began, because of this the Zodiac Signs are different.





Not only have the signs changed but there is now a 13th sign called Ophiuchus (November 29th and December 17th)





Most peoples signs have changed by about a month.
