Do you actually believe that zodiac is based upon constellations? Not quite. Read some topics, you'll find my answer as well as question that I asked. Don';t believe to people who never studied astrology in the first place.|||my birthday is on april 20th and some people say its aries and others say its taurus i honestly dont know... :/

|||Yes the Zodiac signs have changed but this is nothing new. According to Astronomers the earth's alignment is different from where it was three thousand years ago when the study of astrology began, because of this the Zodiac Signs are different.
Not only have the signs changed but there is now a 13th sign called Ophiuchus (November 29th and December 17th)
Most peoples signs have changed by about a month.

Your zodiac sign corresponds to the alignment of the constellation when you were born. That doesn't mean that because all of a sudden the dates changed, YOUR zodiac changed. It's just that from now on, when people are born their zodiac will correspond to these new dates. If the constellation Taurus was the zodiac on the day you were born, that will be it forever...you're not an Aries because your birthday is under the new date...that's just for future births :)|||It didn't, you're still a Taurus. Astrologers are well aware of the placement of the actual constellations and that they have never taken up 12 even sections of the sky. The zodiac signs are twelve even quadrants we've assigned to twelve even spaces in the sky that are named after constellations. It's simply for labeling those quadrants. Astronomers shouldn't dip their hands into astrological affairs. What does it matter to them what sign people are if they don't believe it? Someones zodiac sign is decided by astrology not astronomy, and always has been. This is old news to both studies.
EDIT: People need to stop saying that this only applies to people born now. The constellations themselves have never been perfectly even. The new application that astronomers have decided to install is correct in a literal sense. But as it applies to astrology, the zodiac signs are NAMED after the constellations to seperate 12 even quadrants. If you believe in astrology and you say that it only applies to those born from henceforth, you're making astrology appear ignorant. Both parties have known for a very long time that the constellations themselves are uneven.|||no ofcourse not. zodiacs neither change nor can be changed. they are decided according to the time(including seconds) and date you were born. the new zodiac has nothing to do with your zodiac. it is only that from now people born will have a new zodiac to be tagged in.|||Hi,
The 13 sign is all over the Internet. I see there are plenty of questions here too. This is a good thing so people can get to know what this is all about. I found out a lot by doing some research from a good source so now I can breathe easier cause I know what is going on. Read as much as you can to really know the truth and you will be fine. This is so interesting I can not stop researching from people that can help me understand better.|||Lol No Your Zodiac Sign Has NOT Changed At All.. But Studies Show That This Conciliation Has Been There From The Beginning It's Just They Wanted 12 Signs And Not 13 (It Would Be Really Odd If We Did)... The earth and our sun changed positions in constellations hundreds of years ago. So in essence, the constellation change applies to those already born.
I don't believe in zodiacs but it is fun to read about them.|||well technically your zodiac is the sign you were born under. you were born under taurus. the new one is believed to be applied to those born hereafter. :)|||It really doesn't matter one bit.
I'm not letting this change get to me. I was born a Scorpio, and that's how it's going to be.
