How do I install wood floor on older zodiac inflatable?

I just bought pre 1980 zodiac. I'm not sure if the wood floor is complete. It came with 4 rectangular floorboard and one smaller piece that's shaped like the bow. Is it supposed to have side rails?|||here is detailed info on wood floors for inflatable boats. please note that they normally come with aluminum channel to lock the sides. this site does have replacement wood, air or aluminum floors.

if the side rails are missing, then my suggestion is either buy a complete new floor or go to a hardware store or aluminum channel supplier and purchase lengths of aluminum channel to build your own.

if you modify the aluminum aluminum channel yourself, be carefull of sharp edges or sharp corners that could cause punchure of the air tubes,

hope this helps|||On the old style inflatables, there should be aluminum side rails. If 2 or 3 of the boards are slightly narrower or narrowed on one end, you can see where the rails should be ... also, there should e slotted connectors between the boards.

check these drawings...
